I tried searching and got no responses, I would like to know how to remove the center console from a 2010 2 door 6 speed. I want to make bushings to replace the dreaded plastic retainer for the transfer case shifter. Thanks

Tuffy's instructions have you disassemble the console. If you don't want to go through that trouble, the way I got mine off was to first remove the black panel that the cup holders is part of. You'll neeed to pull the parking brake as far as it will go. The panel is just snapped into place so give a tug here and there until you figure out where to pull. You can try starting with the top part that's snapped in just under the console lid. After that, pull the knob off the transfer case handle. It's also snapped into place but may need some force to pull off. After that, put the trasfer lever into neutral and remove the four screws on the lower sides of the console. You'll need to slide your chair back and forth to get to all of them. Then, it's all about getting around the stinking parking brake handle.
