Remove stickers or not

After looking at the pics in Utah's sig and seeing his silver JK with and without the side stickers, it's made me wonder if it would make mine look better with or without them.

Here's a pic with them and a chop with them removed.

So what's the verdict? Ditch or keep?

Personally, I like the stock decals on a Wrangler. Anything else is too much/messy.

How can it be too much/messy when he is talking about removing them, not replacing them with something else?

Without the stickers, it looks longer and more like a Ford Excursion or Chevy Suburban, so I don't care for that look. Then again, I don't like 18" wheels either.

I was just giving my opinion on decals, which is what he asked for.

I've never seen a before and after comparison like that - I think it looks better w/all the stickers removed. Very clean and purposeful. Makes me want to remove the stickers when I get my Rubi.

My two cents. I love the stickers. I don't think we are talking about a 1980 trans am here. I would have to disagree with it looking like an Excursion without them though. I think we need to work on vehicle recognition here.....

I knew what you meant Prot. Just trying to get a laugh out of you! You are right though, Without any marking there, it doesn't look like it should. If you make it up to Va for Camp Jeep, Look me up I'll buy you cold one.

Depends on what you want to project, I think. The Sahara's have a hint of bling to them, so the decals follow that aesthetic, gives a little more for the eye to catch.

Me, When I get my 2 door X, the first thing I'm going to do is remove the decals, but that's the look I'm going for, less is more, cleaner and more utilitarian.

Maybe a way to think about it is that most people won't notice whether they're there or not, only Jeep-heads like us--and we're all a little peculiar anyway.

Your Jeep looks good either way. Thanks for taking the time with the pics, was interesting to compare the two.

I agree with leaving the stock stickers. The only other sticker my Jeep gets on it is our Michigan ORV sticker. It all comes down to personal preference. The no sticker look does look good, it's just not my personal preference.

I think personally the Sahara and Rubi badging are fine. I dislike very much the X on mine. I removed that but left everything else.

No. It is a simple vinyl sticker. Take a hair dryer to it for about 30 seconds and it peels right off.
