Ran the JK for another trip

Me and my wife and 2 sons headed out to Pittsburgh this weekend for a Hockey tournament for my youngest son. It was about a 4 hour ride. I must say that Pittsburgh is a beautiful city and very scenic with all those winding roads and highways. I like the way the city is set in a valley. I got about
19.3mpg. I have about 3000 miles/5200KM on it now. It ran great! I ran it at 75 to 80mph so I can't complain about the gas mileage I was getting. I filled up thetank and ran it all the way there with a little less than a quarter of a tank of gas. When I filled it back up, the odometer said 549 miles on it. Not Bad! I am still very impressed with it. It does need more power but its not a huge complaint.

I love Pittsburgh. I grew up pretty close to there and I went to college there. Great city. Like you said, it's neat how you come into the city - driving down the freeway in the hills, then all of a sudden you come around the bend (or through a tunnel) and BAM!!!, there is the city. It just jumps out of nowhere.

Oh, and yeah... Jeeps rock too!!

Go Steelers!!

Been there...

Been to Pittsburgh once, drove there and I do recall the impressive gateway to the city. You are driving down the interstate, enter a tunnel (the Liberty Tunnel I believe) and then once you leave the tunnel, the city is just there! Truly a remarkable experience.

Drove to Tallahassee from Miami (approx. 500m 1 way) and back over Thanksgiving weekend. About same mileage and speeds as you. My main concern prior to the trip was the quality of the ride and how my rear would feel. Happy to say, a very pleasant ride.
