Question about belly skids w/ no lift

So I went to purchase a set of TnT AL skids and noticed at the bottom the required 2 inch lift for the oil/engine skid. I'm trying to figure out why this kit would require it and none of the others I looked at (EVO & RROR) wouldnt. Anyone run TnT skids? Better yet do all skids need lift for some type of clearance? Worried I'm going to lose ground clearance now.

Thanks

Did you call TnT and ask why?

I sent them an email today. Hopefully I'll hear back from them.

I would jump out there and guess that their skid may interfere with nearby objects, such as the driveshaft? I'd take it at face value and drop a lift in first - or look for another skid.

Skid before a lift??? Hmmm.
