PSC Brawler & Warn issue

I've got an issue with the black metal loop on the Warn synthetic line, no matter where I connect the hook the black metal piece hits the fairlead. I've tried d-rings and the bar.

How have others solved this?

Hook it on somewhere else, or replace the hook with a thimble.
I just installed the zeon 10s on my exp one front bumper and due to the placement of the recovery points, either the hook or the shackle will scrape at the powder coat when snugged up.
I snugged the hook up to the fairlead and scratched it up already. Oops! I'll probably replace the fairlead and put a safety thimble (with a rubber isolator) on the end.

I have seen a set up using a OD Tube Clamp that had a D Ring mounted on it. The tube clamp was in positioned on the top middle of the bar and the winch was hooked onto it. You obviously can't use it as a tow point but a taught winch line will hold it in place. I can't remember where I saw it but poly performance sells the clamp with optional mounting tabs.

I saw that also and liked the look. That was my original plan but the bar is not far enough away, the loop still hits.

The Viking safety thimble I have on my LJ just uses the line and would not fit the metal loop on the Warn line. I was not looking forward to unweaving the new Warn line.

It looks like the Factor 55 thimble might be able to fit the Warn loop. It's pricy though, 149 for the thimble pin and rubber bumper.
