Well i guess i should consider myself lucky as far as the head problem. I made it 32,000 miles before my check engine light came on for a misfire in cylindar #4. took it to the dealership and told them ive seen a lot of problems coming up with the heads on the pentastar. They told me it was probably a lazy lifter but they would look at it. Had to use my extended warranty to get a rental. Finally at 7:30 they called and told me it was a sticking valve problem and they would have to replace the head. Also told me the head was on back order and that i would have to drive the jeep until the part came in so they could fix it. They said it would likely cause more problems but they would also be repaired under warranty. Is it normal to expect this kind of care for my beloved JK? If so chrysler corp should hang its head in shame!
