For the record, they do NOT make a wraparound for the 4door. The one used is for the 2 door. It fits, but it is very tight. The first three or so days I had it on, I had the seats back against it, but not locked into place in order to give the windjammer a chance to stretch a bit.

If you notice the bottom part of the door surround (you will need soft top door surrounds to run this package), their is a slight crease. This is because the plastic part of the windjammer, is slightly coming out of the door surround channel. When I first noticed this, I was concerned that driving on the highway etc, they'd pull free, but I've put on several hundred miles with this combo and it works just fine. I also think it looks really good.

The only mods I did for it, were I took an Xacto and where the bikini top straps wrap around the rollbar in the back, I made slits in each location so that they would go through the windjammer, essentially locking it into place.

Having purchased the windjammer Bestop intended for the 4 door and now this one. I can say that IMO the one intended for the Unlimited is garbage. It doesn't really "jam" any wind and it lets in the weather, leaves, etc. It's a decent enough option if you don't own door surrounds, but if you do and you want a windjammer, get the wraparound windjammer. Bestop could very easily make the application perfect for a 4door by making it just 1" longer. That would allow it to properly seat in the channels, without stretching, as well as have the same slide locking channel as the duster has.

i love how bestop makes products just good enough, but never WOW thats what i wanted good.

no locks on doors, round bends in hinge pins that grind on the hinges

and the windjammers are all perfect examples!

Unlimiteds look like hummers, like mustangs look like camaros.

if you locked a soft door and some jerk off wanted to break in they would cut the door or window and you would be out a soft door or window. my jk is the 1st jeep out of 4 i've ever owned that i have locked. even w/ a hard top on my yj's i never locked them. besides if you locked a zipper window door why wouldn't they just unzip it?
as for the hinges that just the nature of the beast. you cant bend round stock w/out a curve. if you did have a 100% 90 degree it would dig into the hinge not just grind or rub. there has never been a soft jeep door done anyother way from 1945 till now.
by the way your jeep does look great! i've never had a wind jammer that sealed. i guess they're much nicer then they used to be.

they make hard doors to.

and at least if the element doors (or doors in general)locked, (in the way bestop says they eventually will) you could keep the door, and just buy new skins!

Unlimiteds look like hummers, like mustangs look like camaros.

i guess your right but then your still spending lots of green because some a-hole sliced your canvis. i know the soft doors are around 400 a set. i'm sure the replacement skins would be 250 or so. i would love a set of bestop soft doors but i need to finish my willys before i spend 800 on the jk. i can say that if i get a set the locks will never be used if they have them.
