Thanks for the compliments... I really do appreciate them.

Yes, the tank in the back is a 10lb "Source" CO2 tank.

I really don't mind the Hummer comment at all.

I am only fenderless for the moment, in fact I am dropping it off at the shop in the morning to get the Off Road Evolution "EVO Armor" installed which incorporates a flat fender.

It was fun driving in the rain shooting up 20ft rooster of water...


Lots more to come...

My new baby... have had her for about a week now.. today was a little chilly but definitely nice enough for some topless/doorless cruising.

i gotta say, once the excitement wears off of the unlimited, the 2 doors have a good deal more charm!

Unlimiteds look like hummers, like mustangs look like camaros.

I am currently running 37x13.5 Nitto Mud Grapplers and the lift is a Pro Comp 6" Long Arm with FOX 2.0 Shocks.

The latest magazines say, as long as GM doesn't sell Hummer, the H4 (HX) is still approved for production for 2010. They've sold exclusive rights to Maisto to produce numerous versions of it in die cast form (of which I have several), which could possibly be an admission to production or just a money-maker, as was the Jeep Rescue Concept.

Even though the H4 is supposed to have an IFS, I think it would be good competition for the wrangler. At least with the majority of buyers. And competition is always a good thing when it comes to a niche segment.

i seriously wouldnt mind a version of the Hx. hummer proved with the H3 that they werent just for posers. that they could build something with a purpose and have it do it well.

and if they have a speedy HX, i would sell out jeep in a heartbeat!

now if jeep had a 5.7 MDS in a 2 door unlimited or a gladiator. then I'd stay loyal!

A buddy of my fathers test drove a production version of the H4 (one of those "he said she said and i heard" kind of things... i know, i know) and said it was the most promising for offroad capability.

The future of vehicle design is IFS.

eh no IFS! That would kill me to see Wranglers start coming with IFS. It was bad enough when they discontinued the XJ and also converted the Grands into IFS. At least they left it in the JKs for now...

As long as Cerberus doesn't screw with Jeep engineers, I think Wranglers will remain with 2 live axles, at least for the foreseeable future. Although the Trailhawk was developed during Daimler's rule, it's supposed to hint at the redesigned Grand Cherokee and features the underpinnings of the JK Unlimited. It would be great to see the Grand go back to 2 live axles! I wouldn't get a WK to replace my WJ, but I'd consider the next gen with that setup!
