The only thing I don't like about the hard top Unlimited is the way the doors are painted. I did some fooling around with Paint Shop Pro and I changed the upper section of the doors to the same color as the hard top, so that it looks like the way the halfdoors look with the softop on. It's a huge improvement in looks and looks a lot more agressive. I don't have picture privalages yet to demonstrate what I mean though.

I just picked up an '07 Sahara. Silver, 18" wheels, power shananigans, 6spd, Freedom Top and that's it. I actually wanted to get it with a Trak-Lock and dual tops but this one was on the lot so it was a little easier to make a decent deal. I'll add the differential in the Spring myself so that is a wash and I may just go with a bikini top setup so the soft top may not be necessary (but if anyone sees one including hardware on Ebay......let me know ). Either way I love it. I have a few electrical glitches but hopefully the dealer will get to the bottom of it soon or I'll just enact the Lemon Law.

I previously owned a '98 Sport that was totalled when a drunk bimbo got on the interstate in the wrong direction and I drove over her roof (airbags are cool BTW). Then I had a '00 Sahara for a few years so I'm not a complete noob. I am quite impressed so far with my new Sahara......great road manners and quiet. I'm looking forward to testing it's off-road performance.

I traded in my VW R32 (250HP 3.2L VR6. 6spd, AWD, HUGE brakes) just a blast to drive but it was starting to have some issues and with the warranty about to expire I figured it was time to bail and the trade in value was excellent.

For my speed needs I also have an '87 Buick Grand National so between it and the new JK I should have all of my needs covered.

all these jeeps would look SOOOO much better with half doors... BUT they all look sweet even with the full doors. nice rides guys (and gals)
