Congrats. That's why I am tossing that idea back and forth. Bought my 08 New, got 111,234 miles on it, but, I've got it lifted and modified right where I love it.

Another new one, with Zero miles would be great, but starting the mod process all over again....ohhhh Noooooooo lol

That's exactly why it took us hours at the dealership.. not because of the sales or finance guy.. it was because of me.. I had to come to terms that I'd be starting all over again.. all the hours and busted knuckles.. oh well, our 2010 was coming up on some major items (regear, steering upgrades, and ball joints). That, and with the 10A, I don't have to buy new bumpers, and shouldn't "need" to regear.. and new warranty.. LOL

i hate to be that guy on the forum lol but i swear they don't rub at all. I wouldnt even try to flex or offroad with them but for on the road its perfectly fine. These tires have excellent road manners too not much of a difference going from the stock tires to these except being up higher.

fitzz47:

How do you like owning two JKUs? Ever any regret or thoughts that they're redundant?

I only ask, because my wife and I have thought about trading her little commuter car [she doesn't have a long commute any more] and adding a 2nd JK to the garage. We have a 2008 JKU, and we'd probably add a 2-door JK if anything. Just curious, because we both really enjoy driving the Jeep way more than the little putt-putt mobile (as much as 35mpg is nice). At the same time, we question our sanity for wanting a pair of nearly the same vehicle.

I thought, I'd jump in also. As you can see from my signature we have 2 TJs, an LJ and a JK in the driveway. If the difference in MPG does not scare you, and you both would pick the JK to drive if available you have your answer.

My daughter, who has a long drive to college, has to drop $120 in gas for a round trip home, she likes the idea of 35 mpg but not enough to dump the TJ.

Thanks ... yeah, that's what I figure. We also have a Grand Cherokee, so it would make it 3 Jeeps. We don't do a ton of driving for work, so it's become realistic.
