Dafoo, I agree with you. That JK that redrockjk posted is awsome. It was actually that jeep that flipped the switch for the wife. She fell in love with it. Now, hers left the plant on friday and should be here soon.

I've done the skyline drive a bunch of times. Lived in harrisonburg, Va for a while. Beautiful up there. Jeep looks good. Mine will be here this week. I don't have the view down here in florida right now that you have, but I'll still be able to get it dirty. How do the kids like it. I have 2 girls, 3 and 4 that are even more impatient than I am about getting the jeep.

The boys love it! They really enjoyed using my 2000 TJ SE as a jungle gym when the top was down (heck, they couldn't hurt it), and love the additional room and the Flame Red on the new JK! They impatiently wait for a good day so that I can take the top down and not have to use the doors to get in (they climb on the wheels and under the bar, think it's a "cool" way to get in...

I know what you mean about the jungle gym. My girls just jumped around inside the show room model for 2 hours. Good selling point.

As far as the half door on jeeps. The first orders went out on march 21st. That is when DC took the first half door orders. Since I went bone stock on just about everything I will be getting mine, hopefully, next week. Its hitting that 6-8 week window for them to be released, so here in the next couple of weeks you should start seeing pics
