The CJ pic was a posing shot for Craigslist/Autotrader. It had too many driveline problems and I couldn't get it to pass smog. I needed a daily driver to get back and forth to work, so unfortunately I had to sell it.

As far as the JK, it has a 1 3/4 Daystar BB with Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks, 305/70R17 (33.81") Summit Mud Dawg M/T's on Incubus 511 17x9's. I wasn't crazy when I found out that I was getting the Daystar (really wanted the Teraflex 2.5 and the dealer was paying for it as part of deal), but it works just fine for me. I love it and so does my wife

- she hated the CJ because it spent most of the time in the garage with the hood up. I didn't care though, I love wrenching.

Thanks for the info. I gotta get a lift on mine and get rid of those stock wheels. I know my Nittos will look much better with some back spacing! Great looking mods to your JK! Sorry to hear about the CJ. I forgot about things like that, it was sittin' so pretty in that pic, didn't think about those kinds of problems with it! Maybe some folks take it for granted how dependable the newer jeeps truly are considering how many threads about problems there are, ugh!

It was a bittersweet sale for me. I regretted it for the next four months. Maybe some day I'll get another one.

Here is a pic without the lift. The tires rubbed moderately. So it can be done without a lift if you are on a strict budget.

Also, I had to go with the 17x9's because they were the only size that would clear with that model rim.

25 miles after pick-up, before the wash...

30 minutes later, stickers gone, and wiped down...

i'm so happy to be back in a jeep....

my new JK was delivered Thursday afternoon. Gorgeous day so i took out the front part of the hard-top....way cool. Can't wait for warmer weather so i can put the rag top on. went off road that night, what a riot. It was covered in mud, had to wash it 2 times....'07 Sahara Unlimited (great with my 2 kids) 2" lift, MT 35" tires, remote start, tow pkg. limited slip, for lights, GPS, way cool ride, can;t wait to get some more free time to drive it. 150 miles or so. Had a CJ years ago, what a difference.
