I chose the TrueTrac's front and rear to keep my 13 completely comfortable on the street since it's primary purpose is a DD. My JK will have all 4 tires on the ground damn near all the time, so there really wasn't a need for anything more than the TrueTracs. I Have a TJ with Detroits front and rear that I use to beat around on the trails. If I didn't have the TJ, I probably would have gone with a TrueTrac front and a Detroit Locker in the rear.
I guess you are in about the same place I am. My TJ has front and rear Detroits also. Love the simplicity. That said, you make a good case for the TT's and a regear. I am thrilled with the road manners of my JKU, even with an RK Stock Mod, Bilsteins, Rancho Drop Brackets and 35's. Graet vehicle to drive daily!
