Pocket Flares

I plan on cutting the fenders on my jk but would a pocket flare be a better option? i have 32 in tires on now but i really want 33's would that give me the clearance?

cut fenders first then see if you still want the pocket flairs.

"Better option" cutting your fenders is free, pocket flares can be over $600 bucks-
