Please Help

So I got some angry eyes for my jeep that are stuck to the body with some 3m type tape. I no longer want them and have no clue how to get them off, I've tried pulling them off, prying them off, using a razor blade to cut the adhesive off... nothing works. Please help me

How about a heat gun or hair dryer to soften up the sticky stuff?

Is it something you can pull floss under to cut the glue?

I kinda want the back story of how they got from the venders hand to needing to be unbonded ...
I think the ring will absorb too much heat to soften the bond at the body but try it - floss is step two, use acetone or "goo gone" to remove adhesive remaining.

The wagon should, of course, be as light as possible, but strength should not be sacrificed to lightness, for on any but the regularly traveled roads, the wagon will get many a hard knock...

Won’t acetone hurt the paint or clear coat? I know goo b gone doesn’t but it seems like acetone would.

I was able to finally get them off... Used the floss to loosen them up, then a flat head to pry it up enough to get my hand behind it cut the remaining adhesive with a knife. All thats left is to get rid of the adhesive with goo be gone.

Acetone evaporates real fast - so simply work with small spots and move quick - it wont stay behind and continue to solvent work. I have not seen it damage any of the clear coats I have messed with. That said I wax heavily on em when fresh... so my problems are more along the lines of getting stuff to stay on - not come off...
