Yeah it's an X, the Sahara has body coloured fenders (and the side decals) and the Rubicon obviously has the hood decal.

i saw some "X" in stock at my dealer. I personally like black fenders. What other ways is the "X" weaker than the Sahara?

As far as I'm aware it's mostly cosmetic stuff, the Sahara comes with the same stuff as the X "S" package, plus the speakers, tubular side steps and optional 18" wheels.

I went for an X S package with pretty much every option going, I didn't want the 18" wheels or the body coloured fenders, so I didn't see any point in going for the Sahara, I'd have gone for a Rubi, but the extra 6 grand buys a pretty decent dirt bike that I won't mind totalling, the same can't be said for the Jeep

I agree. My X is optioned to pretty much match a Sahara. If you're gonna drop the cash, pick up the Rubi.

I wonder why your muffler is silver and mine came painted black? They run out of paint?

Hey, thanks for all the positive feedback... Mods to follow after the first of the year:

tint front windows to match all around
replace front & rear bumpers for something metal
3/4" spacer up front
32" tires, probably BFG all-terrains
new wheels of some sort.

I'm mainly trying to wait to see what all comes out for the new JKs before I make up my mind... I don't want to buy something only to have something else come out that I'd rather have had.

odd my Sahara's muffler is silver and i was talk to a guy with a x and his was black and he said it came that way now here a x with silver???

Yeah, i'm not sure why my muffler is silver, what I am sure of is a magnaflow catback will replace it as soon as they're available

Not meaning to hi-jack but since it was kind of already mentioned I have a question. Does anyone know if a 3/4 spacer to level the front is the same as the one used for the XJ/TJ/MJ? By that I mean same diameter.
