You could make it tech if you showed how you mounted the kayak or something haha.

i just used some cheap rachet straps from walmart. they say they can handle like 500+ lbs i think, but not sure if i would try it lol. I would add maybe a front one if i was going far but i only go like 3-4 miles like that

thanks for all the pics everyone......i usually travel 60-120 miles when i go kayaking when not using my home lake where i keep my boats.......

Man, those look good on there... I'm going to go try and find a used canoe or something to tie down up there... and just drive around LIke I'm ready for adventure!

If you carry the canoe/Kayak, with the top off, you won't complain when the hardtop leaks when it rains-right ?? (assuming you have a hardtop) !!
