Had a good weekend at the shop, artec truss installed with lca skids and c gussets finished up. Pretty easy when your buddy is a great welder. Im fair but knowing he welded it up i feel much safer. Also quadratec sent my winch stuff over finally will have that working.
Truss install was fairly simple, I did have to remove the springs so the pieces would for in pre tack welded. Easy enough since we already took out the track bat and chain hoisted the Jeep up for room.

Got a chance to hook up the winch this weekend. I was a little nervous it wouldnt work 100% with the fire and all. Luckily she runs like a charm spooled out and in completely just to make sure and wrap her up nice. Leaving the bumoer off for the week to hit it with a scotch brite pad. Plus a bad storm was coming in right as I was done with the winch. So heres how she sits for the week

So as im nearing the end of the build till winter, im coming up with a few things on my list, once summer is over most of my weekends will be spent wheeling so some of these are important
Roll cage: something bolt in, ill eventually go river raider or custom but for now im deciding on poison spyder and or fab. I like ps more but the cost is killing me
Ball joints: we all know the factory ones are failing sooner or later, contemplating alloy usa and synergy, leaning more synergy, but theres another company I cant think of the name, its in one of the threads on here. And dynatrac is way too expensive for me.
Rear corners. Wont go on till the stretch, ps emailed me back saying they are working on a design that should work for me. If not them ive seen a few work with river raider but ill probably go custom from a local shop
also need to get myself some removable mud flaps, the cops seem to be getting more and more eager as i drive by. It wont make me legal. But I feel itll help a lot thanks for reading my babble guys

Our shop isn't cooled either...and I've done the no shirt welding exactly twice. Both times ended up with my left chest/shoulder area (closest to torch) burnt and pealing a few days later. Busted a driveshaft in moab a few years back and forgot my welding helmet and used just oxy goggles. Forehead was pealing all the way back to my balding spot.....lol. I don't take those chances any more. I find that if I sweat a bit more, gives me a better reason to have some "hydration" after

Very nice Awinski. I read through the whole build but I didn't see alot of future plans other than a stretch?

wow, sounds like a terrible case. luckily the next day he was perfectly fine. no idea but it may be the tons of grease and dirt that was covering our bodies we are also very tan to begin with, lots of yard work around here

future plans for now, ball joints, corners, cage, etc. far future, stretch, eventually a more aggy tire, bead locks, diff cover (front atleast), axle shafts, gears, and thinking in a year or so she may get RIPP'd, but only if they have a sale like they did for the 3.8 sc . the obvious stuff
