1) it's not the entire tub. Just the outer body panels
2) it didn't get to 80% (this is what they told me it would have to get to)
3) they are dip****s

Dont stress over it bro. Everything will work out in the end and ull be driving a jeep again in no time.

Just trying to stay positive for u.

The next build thread can be titled "in memory x2" or "part duex"

so i talked, once again, to the body shop today. i should have it back sometime in the new year. i plan to repaint her another color (going through my options over the next few weeks), and paint all of the aluminum black. then leave whatever trail scars show up in the future silver as they appear, or touch them up if i feel the need.

so having nothing to do over christmas break i'm sure ill think of some mods to add to her when she returns to me.

I know it really sucks. But I can choose any color as long as I can get the paint code

What colors are you thinking? I like steel blue, or the 10th A blue. Although my personal favorite is Gecko.

Right now I'm at a blue green (kind of a dark teal) Google the superlift SEMA jk. Then there's artic blue or cast iron gray

Non metallic colors are suuuuuuper easy to match if you need to, are generally cheaper and go down easier with less to no orange peel.

Since it was black id do a single stage no clear semi gloss desert tan enamel paint with a couple extra coats (suuuuuper durable) and a gloss black super shiny grille

Ultimately everything is up to the dozen options you have driving you crazy in your head

I really like the color on the superlift SEMA jeep. Without the orange. But I'd feel like the devil offroading it haha

A nice matte version of Commando would look great. Going matte for any colour would be cool though as you would stand out from any similar Jeeps

Yes sir, a good rough texture on it would look great. I love Commando, but that would make it even better
