insurance is paying the body shop directly unfortunately

You only get a salvage title when the vehicle it totaled and then purchased back from the insurance company and repaired privately to be retitled.

His insurance didn't total it out, because they're paying for repairs (instead of paying him directly a lump sum)

At this point the jeep will have a normal title, the only blem will be that it has a major accident on its history report

So far I don't plan to sell it. So I'm fine with it. I would like to make make a trailer at some point though

The jk tub isn't one piece like previous years. It's actually quite a few

Went to check it out again today. It looks like almost every body panel needs replaced. The body mounting bolts are all crooked etc. I'm honestly surprised it's not totaled
