Pentastar engine temps?

I just upgraded from a '10 jku to a '13 jku rubi.
I installed my bullydog gt tuner, not using the tunes, just monitoring, and noticed temps in the 230s on coolant. It wont even pick up my tranny temps. Curious as to how hot do these engines actually run? I user o have my fan set, on my '10 to be in high at 205deg. Thoughts?

As long as the temp gauge on the Jeep is in the middle, that's where its supposed to run.

Mine will get in the 220s(100 degrees today)but just for a second comes back down fast to 207 or so.I do have a scan gauge. The gauges seem to get more like idiot lights now a days.
