I like to have people go over the side of the jeep to get into the back seat but im affraid they will scratch the paint. is there anything that i can buy that would go down for protection?

my nephews (5 of them, ages 3-14) climb the hell all over the jeep if I'm not looking. I am more worried about the weight on the fenders. No scratches on the paint yet.

Keep a good coat of wax on the body and make them take their time and be careful. Otherwise, let them continue being careless and when they sprain their ankle and bust their butt, they'll learn their lesson the hard way.

If you are wanting to protect the door sills, purchase a set of door sill protectors from mopar. I bought mine on eBay. simple install and look pretty good.

IF you are looking to protect the top edge of the tub, you could try a spray on bedliner of some sort. Other than that, wax as said above.

Heavy blanket that you can roll up? Besides, why aren't they just stepping on the tire?

On my tub rails, I bolted 1" perforated corner brackets through pre-existing holes on the rail. I cut cork/rubber gasketing for the whole length, and rattle canned the corner beads black for waterproofing.
I put mine in for anchor points, but I'm thinking you could flip them with their edge down inside, and cover the tops. There're 2" brackets that would definitely cover the whole thing.
Here's an okay picture, but it shows the idea. ~$3 at chain hardware store + paint

What about that 3M clear tape? The kind they use for hoods and stuff.
