If I could only choose between the 2 I'd go with the Smittybuilt

Both look like DIY jobs. The RR looks like a trimmed flare that has too much flare left on and the Smitty looks like too much taken off.

What are your local laws regarding tire coverage. You may be better off with the RR

I like the RR flares but before I'd make a final decision there are other flares out there to checkout. Neither one of the two choices provide much tire coverage which means "Holy flying mudballs"!!!

Of these 2 choices I like the Smitty better. However, it doesn't provide much cover. I like the Bushwacker flats better than both of these. If you are like me and like to ride with your foot (in flip flops with toes exposed) on your slider/doorframe and don't want to have a rock or piece of metal/debris take off a toe or severly mame your foot, then I wouldn't go with those smittybilts. They [rovide no protection and are probably not legal in "some" states. Of course, in MS they have better things to do than stopping people and whipping out a tape measure....

My vote goes to Bushwackers, but if your set on one of the two you linked... Smitty's look better IMO.

I've had good experience with my Bushwacker pocket flares on my XJ. Bushwacker looks like the way to go.

I'd have to agree with the Bushwacker Flats. That's the route I'd go if I could afford it.
