Painted inside of the hardtop

Has anyone had the inside of the hardtop painted. The white shows dirt smudges pretty bad. I know its a jeep but I like for it to look clean sometimes too.

the other thing is I saw somewhere that some one had used speakerbox carpet on the celing... anybody know where that link is?

How the hell does this liner go on the hard top? Anyone know?? If it uses two sided tape, won't that glue get soft and cause the liner to fall off when it gets hot??

I kinda thought the same thing

wish they had more choices like even a canvas material like whats on the roll bar.

i think painting the inside of the hardtop would be a good idea. tape everything proper like and do a good job. you have given me an idea. you could paint it a color to match the interior.

Someone on this forum or another did it themselves and it looks really good. Also, someone who's getting their jeep from AEV soon reported that not only did AEV paint the outside to match the body, but they painted the inside as well, and from the pics I've seen of his Jeep so far it looks amazing.

By the way, here's the thread from the do-it-yourselfer on this board, looks great.

7 cans of dupli color truck bed liner looks great
dont forget the guy who did it did a real nice job hope we all have the same luck i 'm doing it soon
