Your not putting the carrier back on? You going to throw the spare in the back? Or is it just busted you just going to rock without it?

I don't think I'm going to... The increased departure angle has not effected me negatively yet, but the overall length has. I'll plan on throwing a spare in the trunk for the trail and run without otherwise...I may change my mind, who knows

Every time I called the dealership, they told me that the new design on the '11/'12s was all they could get By every time, what I mean is, the one time that I called and never followed back up because I forgot about it

that's a good question...I haven't actually fully planned this out. A 36" spare fits in the back of the TJ (let's face it, the KM2s are not 37s), but the TJ doesn't have a big subwoofer box in the back of it...It might take some scratching of the head and some creative thought with the subwoofer.

It'd be cool if my center console could integrate the subwoofer like the TJs did...

pioneer makes a slime 8, 10 and 12" sub, that with a properly constructed box, could fit under the rear seats.

No kidding. I miss being able to feel my sub.

For the record, I'm probably judging you for your bad grammar or spelling.

Yup, Molshove is back on black once again!

Good idea, Spyder6, on moving the sub below the rear seats - I might do that to free up some space in the back. I had the sub out for a while and it frees up a lot of space.

You guys think a sub could fit under the folding seat of the unlimited without obstructing the folding frame beneath?

I can barely get a small bugout bag about 16"x12"x10" under mine and it still won't sit flat. Maybe with some creative ingenuity.

You realize who you're talking to, yes?

I just don't think it's possible...I could always ditch the rear seat and throw in bucket seats...mount the sub in a weatherproof console between the seats. But then I lose my storage space in the second row, and the trunk is full of the spare...
