OMG!!! Saw an 07 4dr with a Chevy 6.0L

I was at my local sheetz today and saw a guy with a 4dr JK put in to fill up and it sounded way, way, more aggresive then a 3.8L. So I sparked up a convo and he lifted the hood and there it sat a Vortec 6000 motor and he even surprised me further the thing had a 6 speed Allison auto tranny. This thing was beast. I tried to get a pic but camera phone did a lousy job, I really wish I had my d90 on me. I would have posted this pic everywhere!

That heep must have been awesome! Did the owner say whether it was a 1000 series Aly?? That trans is a beast! Would have to have a body lift to make it fit! Bullet proof though!

It had to be the 6/90 (I think). The Ally won't bolt to a 6.0. It would also eat too much power from that 6.0. And be physically way to big. I got one in a crewcab dually.

This thing was shoehorned into this jeep. And yes the 6 speed allison will bolt up to a 6.0L I think GM only offered it one year! But I could be mistaken!!!

Only the Duramax and the 8.1 gasser. It would truly serve no purpose to put the Allison behind a 6.0 and then in the jeep. If thats truly what was done, and it works well, then good for him. But I'd need to see to believe.

What color was it? I'm guessing it was put together by River Raider, especially since you're in PA.

AEV: Hood, Skidplate & Bumper, jackstand and Badging Expedition One Rear Bumper,RE 4.5" Long Arm Kit,5.13s, Black Riddler Diff Covers, Hypertech Airaid CAI, PIAA 540s w/flush mounted switch, Flowmaster 40, 325/60/22 BFGs and the list goes on...

I think a 426 + G56 would be a better match for the JK.
It's easier to install and work 100% with the JK electronics.

Your tire pressure is a little low

I don't want to even think about the amount of dough you have wrapped up in that puppy, would love a few hours to beat on it though!

He wants a full interactive with flash and have the ability to answer live chat through his website attached to his garage phone. He also wants a way to have a person pick services from a list on his site and then get a price estimate then ability to set an appointment up through his website. I priced this out from any web design team, they want almost $20k I can do it for a HEMI swap. TEEHEE
