I did it because I hadn't ever seen a cosmos blue JK like it before. I've been back and forth over it ever since

What you've caused me to do

that I caused?

free will, my Jeeping friend, free will.

sticking with the blacked out light rings? how did you remove that so easily, and crisp-lined?

I actually thought about adding these (in chrome) but I haven't seen them in person to decide one way or the other

http://www.allthingsjeep.com/headlig...angler-jk.html

well, that, and they seem stupid expensive for what they are (a chunk of round pastic)

I painted the eye shadow on a long time ago. I just dipped the whole grille on a whim. Back to basics

I like it a lot. I wish it was a touch wider to help with glare a little more - but it works well

Ahh, the "Hoss" comes over to the dark side.... haven't seen you since the Fatman vs. JeepHammer days. Welcome and be warned that the JK side of the business can be just as addicting as the CJ side. Just more comfortable.

Hey Buddy!
did you hear? talked to Jeephammer, Vex, Fatman, Psychokiller and Johnstrenk, BESRK and MoC... we're getting the band back together!

figured it wouldn't be long before I bumped into someone I knew. no way am I the only one this foolish!

I've swapped jersey's enough in this game to get a pretty good 'lay of the land', but the newness of each time still excites me.

what are you rollin' nowadays? how's the CJ?

Dang, now there are some names I haven't seen in awhile. Kind of like the Rolling Stones, just won't go away...

The CJ has been trapped in the garage for probably the last 2 1/2 years. Debating whether to sell her or not.

Still fun to drive that finicky 304/3-speed and wonder if you are actually going to be able to stop.

I picked up a 2010 JKU Rubi auto in Aug of that year. Wanted the cosmos blue, but didn't have much to choose from with the 2011's coming
out right around the corner. Immediately started buying and collecting parts for about a year before installing 3.5" lift, gears, bumpers
and 35's. That's the part I was warning you about.

Sounds familiar, my Jeepster hadn't moved in a year, so off it went.

Nice Rubi, I like the Redrock. I seriously contemplated a 3-4 inch lift and 35's, But ultimately decided to stick w/ 33's for now. I leveled the front, but I think I'm going to add BDS 2" coils at all four corners, too.

I have a brand new, zero mile set of 18/58 coils and shocks off a Rubi, but don't think I'm going to go that route.

What gears did you go with?
