Any reason for the 2-door and not a 4-door like most? Just curious.

Maintain, wheel, upgrade, repeat.

I tried the 4dr for a while. I always had YJ and TJ'S and loved the turn radius etc. I found the 4dr to be more Grand Cherokee like.

LOL you need a new screen. It was tan. He had a black one, then a tan one now a black one again. He traded it in for a rediculously great deal to get the current black Rubi.

Lol. It was a cream colour. I just used white as a general colour reference lol.

My apology.

That's was a really cool jeep. I loved it.

Wheels with this deal came in finally to the dealer. Oh and while I'm waiting for the right bumper my saws all lured me in to cut the factory bumper into a stubby!

Sorry, I've only been here since 2010 when I picked up my JK.

Wheels look great!

I wish I saw the bumper mod when I bought my rig, it probably would have save me some bucks. I'm actually contemplating taking a cutting wheel to my Mopar steel bumper tommorrow.

I think you should do it and do it today. I have the Mopar front bumper too and would really like to see what it looks like without me trying it first.

Damm if you didnít and to think you did it just so I could see, thanks.

Looks good except for how they originally built that bumper where the ends bend. Why in the heck did they decide to raise it above the straight part and weld it like that? The only reason I can think of is ease of manufacturing. When I was modding my bumper I came very close to redoing that part but decided to leave it that way in the end.

Anyhow your bumper came out nice.

Thanks. Yeah, I think they just put in a slit, bent it and welded it over. I think cutting the cans and putting in Teraflex shackle mounts is next.

Since you've been there, if I dremel the weld areas on the bar, can I remove it cleanly from the bumper?
