OK!! Its Official! The dvdsjk black 2dr Rubi Build!!

Keeping this one mild so far! Had some money to play with the the recent trade of my Sahara Tan Sahara so ordred some AEV wheels and 33's through my dealer! So fender flares are the first step. Installed the Bushwackers tonight. Will post a couple of pics im the AM. Heres a pic or two of the tear down.

Definitely curious how this one will turn out. Congrats on the new ride.

I'v been thinking about 33s on my 07 rubicon. Can you do it without a life or will they rub? Are your replacing your fender flares for this issue?

LOL My thoughts exactly with every word. Good luck and have a ton of fun! If you need a spare set of hands in the next 2 weeks, let me know. I'm on vacation until July (except for Friday. I have to go in and testify in court)

Congrats on your new Jeep (Project?), can't wait to see what you have in store for this one.

No the'll work with the right wheel offset. the factory wheels might rub.

Are your Rubicon wheels painted? The ones they gave me with mine were, and I was a little disapointed when I found out they shouldn't be painted.

dvdsjk 06-16-2012 08:35 PM

They are. On the window sticker they call it "painted satin carbon" . The wifes Grand Cherokee wheels are same color. Its silver with a darker tint.

:laugh:The only way that you can keep this one mild is if your wife burns all your Jeep catalogs and bans you from ordering online.....

Congrats on the new toy......

I was wondering when you would find this!!!! Ha!!! She's actually happy with the deal I made. Plus I still have wheels and tires coming from the dealer included in the deal. And thanks Joel!!!

Coolcatracing 06-17-2012 05:09 PM

Even the regular silver wheels are painted, I'm pretty sure all the factory wheels are painted. As for your build, I have never met someone who can keep a jeep mild for long unless they simply have no money. Lol
