I live 4 miles of dirt road. This has made the dirt road feel like the shortest part of my drive, it used to be the problem. I feel stupid that it took me 8 years of living out here to figure I need to build a dirt road car. The shocks rock the dirt road, just put more foot in it and it gets smoother. The damping is the impressive part.

I was really torn between the Kings and Fox....ended up going with Fox because they offer a one year warranty where King was only 90 days.

If you really compare them apples to apples they are both excellent shocks, you can't go wrong with either. Good equipment.

King offers a free revalve if not satisfied, no one else offers that.I would buy these again.

I didnt in any way say the Kings arent good. They are a great shock with a great reputation. All I said is tha the deciding factor for me was a one year warranty as opposed to a 90 day warranty. I'm not sure what the comment means "warranty or not a good company stands behind their products"...one company does for a year, the other 90 days.

I think what he was saying is that some companies take care of their customers even if the warranty is up. (this is for stuff that isn't abused obviously) Some companies excel at customer service. I am not saying either of those companies don't take care of their customers. I would be happy with either.

In my area, there appears to be more support for fox products so I would tend to lean that way.
