Do you know of any that are direct bolt in? I.e not needing new tracks? I'd love to upgrade mine.

Go with Mastercraft.. I sat in every other kind out there.. They are the only ones that had a suspension seat that would last. All the others I tried bottomed out, reclining piece broke, foam was smushed. I'm not saying another brand is bad.. I just sat in all the others whether they were new or old and loved the Mastercraft.

Just wondering why you want to ditch the rear bench seat for buckets?

Do it, do it please. You will be the first and instantly famous, I might even buy you a one-year membership on this forum. Come on, how hard could it be? Oh yeah, don’t for get to make it seatbelt compatible for safety.

How much did those run you? Do they bolt right in?

It would be different that’s for sure but now you just eliminated a third passenger in the rear. Some will say that’s a good thing but if you have kids or grandkids then that could be a problem.

You would loose the ability to fold the seats down for cargo space.
I could do it, mine are folded down 90% of the time!

They bolt right in to the factory seat frame. The passenger side took me 40 min. The drivers took 30min. The passenger side has a small bracket you have to drill out the rivets. Really easy, seriously easy.

I got mine during the 4 wheel parts big show this summer. Cost was $849 for both seats. I got the custom colors for free. Sense 4 wheel parts screwed up the order, I got both map pocket's in the rear for the price of one.
I love the seat's. I'm building a custom cage this winter which I'll tie in the harness bar for these seats and the two I plan on putting in the rear.
And just for the record, Mastercraft makes like 3 different size bench seats for the rear area. So if you want three people, they got ya covered. Or you can just get a custom colored cover for your stock seats back there...that looks like a new Mastercraft bench seat.
oh, and another thing. they make a special bracket for the rear application. So if you want the two rear bucket's they would bolt right in to that.

Yeah I don't have any kids so space isn't an issue. But thanks for all the feedback I'm going to check out mastercraft and I'll get back to you

The guy I sold my factory front seats to put them into the back of a 4 door. Have even seen some people do that and then install the 2 door bench facing backwards in the very back.
Then we can use our minivan powered Jeeps to haul as many people as a minivan but we look cooler
