I think this kit would be great if they included an adjustable front track bar!!

The kit has only been out a couple of months..I think time will tell whether it catches on or not. Rough Country's 2.5" Progressive Spring lift for the TJ sold like wildfire when it was released. Alot of guys really liked that kit...

How much lift does the 3.5 kit actually give u with heavy bumper and winch? I have a 3.25 kit and want more lift and was thinking of swapping out my RC coils with Rock Krawler 3.5 coils to get extra lift but still not sure exaclty what I want to do.

Your lift is a 2.5" Spring with 3/4" spacers..it is different from the 3.5" Springs the new lift comes with. You could order just the 3.5" springs from Rough Country and use your 3/4" spacers for a total of 4.25"!

Here is a great thread with some lots of debate and some words from Rough Country and some user reports and photos. After reading the same negative comments and 'you get what you pay fors,' after reading this thread I decided to go ahead and order this kit and am expecting it in a week or so. Yes, a 1-2 k kit is better, but I can afford what I can afford -- it is what it is.

Thoughts on the new Rough Country 3.5 lift.

That is well and good, so that means we got 3 pages of ppl who are NOT answering the op's question. he asked for a user, and these ppl are talking all about it, but ONE of all these actually HAS used it... I don't get it

yes, I know there are prior exp's and reputations and all that, but he asked about THIS lift, not one a guys friend had on a TJ 6 years ago. I just don't get it.

My post is #39. I mention in the post that I have the 4" but it is this kit, (the 3.5"). I am up to about 2 months now with the kit and I'm still pretty happy with it. It does ride a little rougher than I'd like. I am also going to new shocks next week as I think I mentioned I would eventually do. I am also adding longer brake lines next week.

I'm not sure if these links work, they are pix I loaded to my mobile me account but I have never used the share function before so I am not familiar with it.

If the pix don't work and you still want to see them I will be happt to e-mail them.

Oh I almost forgot to add this:

Pic of clearance of front driveshaft *note I did not install the lower control arms OR the washers for the skid plate drop. I am going to go another route than what was included in RC's kit.
