New Jeep JK models Island and Mountain???

I just read in the paper here that the Detroit Auto Show will unveil a couple new versions of the Wrangler Jeep, the Island and Mountain. The article went to talk more about the rest of the Chrysler line up. No other info was written about the Wranglers. I was hoping for more info about the specs of these two new versions...

Anyone here know anything about these models?

I'm thinking that they might be special editions like the "Rocky Mountain" Edition of the Sport/X???

I remember the Sahara having an Island logo some years ago I believe.... maybe the Island will be a special edition of the Sahara?

...anyways if anyone can dig up some pics or further information before the AutoShow that would be great. If not maybe someone that ends up going to the show in the coming weeks can post up their photos

Thanks for the link and pics.

... quite disappointed with the results though, I was hoping Jeep would have done more than just add some decals and stitching to the seats. How about adding some unique feature or a feature that would be on the 2011's (with hopes of drumming up interest in their intro in June)?

Both are lame IMO, especially with prices quoted.

...and those decals are just down right FUGLY!

...and what's with the latitude and longitude coordinates? DUMB !

Willys edition or J8 would have been much better. These stickers are crap.

but, you get SLUSH MATS on the Islander, ohhhhhh (seems Those would be a bit more useful in the mountain edition??)...

Marketing, Xysler could use some, selling less than 1M cars for first time in '09since 1962!

I always thought the older islanders looked cool. Personally I think that if they're going to go for decals, especially with the islander, they need more than just lettering on the hood. Not really sure what else they could do to make a Wrangler more "islander." Add a tiki torch snorkle and some optional pontoons maybe?

I'm thinking a 4DR Islander edition would be perfect for you.
