Been thinking more on this... by chance did the heat shield get loose?

I tried the VVT, sounds ok mounted in original location, but I wanted it under driver seat location. Tested the turbo, super flow and VVT, and picked the super flow. It's the loudest and deepest of them. The turbo would be a bit quieter, with still good sound.

After a second look, the heatshield had a lip that was hanging down and hitting. All I had to do was bend that lip up. Thank's for following up.
