Factory. We put 500 miles on my rubi this weekend and then 200 on my wifes sahara, and her infinity does sound better.

I picked up the Jeep today, and it did have the Infinity. Sounds pretty good for a stock system on my 48 year old ears.

Great minds think alike, but so do serial killers. Thanks.

Which component? The only thing that "looks different" is the sub enclosure, which has Alpine stamped on the grille. I have a pic somewhere, I'll post...

Really just Sub and amp, I think. Upgraded speakers, but no new locations other than the sub.

I'm upgrading my alpine system already. If I did it again, I'd skip the upgrade and put that $ elsewhere. Sub enclosure is gonna come in handy though. Going to re-shape it to hold a decent 10 inch kicker.

Will post a write up of the upgrade when it's complete.

I made a few of these brackets for installing various things basically anything within 14.25" x 10.5" x 4"

It's kind of nice because you can raise electronics up off the floor and it is made of aluminum.
I plan on using mine for me amp. The last pic you see is one that I bed lined .

...and I now have a new addition to my plan. Seems like aluminum would enhance heat sink properties of an amp. Good stuff.

And yes even on the hot days it will be cooled via AC or doors off. I have a class d amp so it won't really matter. Plus when painted black from the side it looks factory and when installed it would be so frickin hard to steal without removing the seat and the bracket

On that note, how did you get access to measure, install, etc? Can you just remove the seat, or do you have to pull the riser also to get at it?

And are your mounting bolts secured to existing holes, or did you drill them?
