Need some advice on lift and tires

Hey guys, I'm finally ready to get a lift and some new tires. But I'm having a real hard time choosing what lift/tire/wheel to get. Any advice that will help me make a decision would be much appreciated.

FYI, I have an 08 2 Door. Looking to get 2 to 2.5 inch lift with 33 inch tires. This is my DD, but I do use it off roading for work.... maybe 70/30.

First check out the JK F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions / Will It Rub and Links to Popular Threads! sticky above to see what works with whatever combo. Next, do a search here about lifts and whatnot to educate yourself and to see what the more popular lifts, tires, wheels and such that people are using.

It took me a few weeks of studying and learning about the things you are enquiring about to make an informed decision with my first JK.

Agreed, only you will know what will suit your needs. You must educate yourself to make a good choice.

I seem to stress this a lot but seriously consider flat fenders (cut stockers or aftermarket) before a lift. If you cut the stock flares, it's free and can clear 35s pretty easily without any lift. Just my $.02 but as mentioned, seriously consider your options before pulling the trigger.
