Yes, Mopar does make one but it's really old technology. Plain old A-frame, no telescoping arms, etc.

Roadmaster is currently designing one that is suppose to be ready around 11/15. But you're not going to like this (I hate it too), they designed it based on a Sahara and it will not work on the Rubicon. Seems the used the two front bolts on the sway bar as one of the attachment points and it will not fit with the electronic disconnect. I did inform them that starting in January people can order the sway bar disconnect on all models.

Blue Ox has nothing yet. They cannot get access to a JK in Omaha.

So... no good options yet.

I spoke with Blue Ox today and the tech stated they recently had a 2007 Wrangler at their location and looked it over/measured, etc. and that their design people are actively working on a base plate for the 2007 Wrangler. The base plate for the 2007 Wrangler should be available in 2-3 weeks. The tech stated the design will incorporate removable tow tabs. He would give nothing in regard to actual design but implied that the tabs would plug into 2 holes, one on each side that you would have made in the new plastic fascia under the front bumper. Another words when not towing you remove the tow tabs from the hidden base plate (base plate resides behind the plastic shroud) and thus you do not have to look at them when you are not towing. Anyway, Blue Ox will have the base plate soon.

In regard to Road Master, as mentioned in an earlier post, they also have one coming out but apparently their design is flawed as it will only work with the 2007 Wrangler X and Sahara. It apparently will not work with the 2007 Wrangler Rubicon because of an issue with the "front sway bar disconnect system" that only the Rubicon has. Looks like Road Master will have to go back to the drawing board in regard to a base plate for the 2007 Rubicon. I did not get this info from Blue Ox.

I have spoken at length with Roadmaster about this since I have a Rubicon. I did let them know that starting next year, they will also have problems with Sahara and X models since starting in January you can order the sway bar disconnect on these models too.

Looks like I'm just going to have to wait on the Blue OX brackets and then get their adapters for my Roadmaster tow bar...
