NAPA=Wix????

I was told the "Napa Gold" was made by Wix and is the same as the Wix filter for a 2010 JK. Is this true?

Just picked one up last week. The box says:

i've worked at napa for 11 years now. napa gold is made by wix. i went to classes on filters awhile back. i can assure you that the wix and napa gold filters are some of the best filters on the planet... the napa pro select filters are a cheaper grade. stay away from them. pay the extra couple bucks and get the napa gold...

I use extended Napa gold filter. It might hold a cup more oil. I still change the oil with 6 qts.

Good Thread!

Rirrgang- Why do you say it's a good idea to use the extended oil filter?
