Here is my take on this mod. I ended up using epoxy to adhere the zip tie mounts to the grill (after the double side tape was found lacking...). It turned out pretty good. I also Plasti-dipped the grill while I was at it.

Ha, I just finished this mod this morning. I just used the roll of plastic guard, it was easy to work with and will work for the time. I think it really dresses up the front of the jeep, and provides a bit more protection.

You guys Rock.

I'm going to do this ASAP. My rad looks like crap and always full of moths and various other flying insects lol.

Thanks!

Saved for easy reference later.

This will more than likely be the first mod I do once I take delivery of my new Jeep.

Did you scrape off the foam from the back of the mounting blocks before applying the epoxy?

Yes, if not then the other side will eventually come loose.

I bought my tabs at the local home depot. I want to say 1.99 for ten, and I used about 30 of them.

Looking at the one pic of the mesh on from back. Would a one long piece work? Or do you need to cut them up?

Thanks!

I gorilla glued my tie anchors and it does not react with the grill plastic, however it does need to be left dry overnight before you can continue
the install. Its all one piece cut from the roll on an angle so the pattern is diamond shaped when installed.

We are in the process of cutting the pieces to fit the holes. what's the secret to get the flex ties in the holders. my DH is very impatient.

Lay them flat to get through the holes.
