I am not sure I understood what you are talking about. BAS - Brake assist is a system to increase braking pressure in an emergency stop - it detects panic braking and adds boost.

Tap tap is from the electronic limited slip, I thought the proper abbreviation used by Chrysler is ELSD (similar to Toyota's ATRAC, or Nissan ABLS).

But I guess it worked and that's what matters. Not a bad perormance for an open diff vehicle. Not a substitute for a selectable locker, but apparently does in a pinch - and rather fool proof. Wonder about long term reliability, but it is a simple system...
