My JK vids/pics, stock, on 32's, lifted on 33's, offroading, etc

Ok, lets start with the basics. I started with a 2007 wrangler unlimited X. 6spd, 3.21 gears, open diff, AC, CD, bone stock.

here's a pic of how it looked when it came home.

I didn't get many options, because i knew i would pretty much change everything anyway, so why pay for it.

The first mods were some fog lights, tow hooks, and some 265/75/16 BFG AT's that a friend of mine had laying around. I took it out that weekend for an HRJA run

so it worked well as it was . . . but i wanted more of course right!

so jay stull from stull auto had some WJ 4" lift coils laying around and shocks. We lopped off a few coils to bring it down a bit, added the shocks, and tossed some 305/70/16 Maxxis Bighorns.

So have you been able to stop smiling yet...looks like fun.
How was the maneuvering through those trees with the 116" wheelbase?

it has a similar wheelbase/size to a FSJ like a grand wagoneer . . . it's not that bad. You just need to pay attention! It's a little like wheeling a limo when you get into tight S-turns.

Really, you just need to wait a little longer to start your turn. No big deal. I've been really happy with the maneuverability.

It is nice to start seeing some pictures of these on the trail. It looks like you had a good time. Have you had it aligned? It looks like you have some pretty sever camber issues on the front end. Do you disconnect the sway bar? I am going to test drive one for fun when I get a chance.

wow that one pic really does make it look like i have camber issues . . . . i havne't had it aligned. You cannot adjust camber on a solid front axle vehicle. There's no adjustment.

I think it's just the "fisheye" effect of my old digital camera. When i look at it in person they look ok.

I didn't even have to straighten the steering wheel. Unlike the TJ/zj/xj/yj's, the JK uses crossover steering. You don't even need to adjust your toe.

seems nice man, congrats! i wish those 305s would provide a wider stance ya know? alittle tire sticking outside the flare... what size wheel spacer did you use? also... were you in 4 high or low in the second vid? i figured if you were in 4 low you would crawl right up that hill. either way, congrats and good luck with her

Hey 2K,
Good lookin' rig! What's the total lift size? That's about what I'm shooting for on mine. Thanks for the pics!

Cheers,
JV

Nice job

I'm also curious about the amount of lift you gained.
