My Girlfriend finally bought a new JK! Freaking Great! a few pics... maybe...

I have had my WJ for a few years now, I grew up with my brothers CJ-7 so I am no stranger to the Jeep world. The past couple of years I have been able to take my girlfriend out wheeling and camping in my WJ. She loved it, everything from packing up and going camping on a whim to driving it 200 miles (one way to drop of my rotating assembly only to bring it back 2 days later). She just started a new job that is going to require a lot of driving in rural areas and in all weather conditions... so she started looking around. She exhausted every resource. She had it narrowed down to a Jeep Liberty (no more Renegade not cool) and a Wrangler. She test drove both, asked questions (why do they offer two rear - ends? ) Called all around to get insurance quotes, she did everything she could to justify one of the other.

She called me on the way home from work Friday night and asked if I would like to test drive a Wrangler with her. She said she had found one that she liked; It had a trac-lok, Tow Package, 4:10 gears, hard top, built in GPS and Sirrus, and on and on..

Long story short ( ) She signed the papers and brought it home that night. She has been driving it around all freaking day(we have been busy).

I will see if I can get her to post some pics of it down at her mom and dads in just a moment...

Your pictures are fine, you just have to be a member for atleast a month and have 50 technical posts before you can hotlink pictures.

No pictures of the girlfriend...?

Take her out on the weekend for lunch and ply her with a couple beers, then you'll *have* to drive it home. By way of every trail, mud hole and pile of rock possible.

Since she didn't buy the 4door.... she's a keeper! Everytime I think of JK I think about the 4door ones, and I cant stand them. 2dr's are nice though.

Is the grill a different color than the rest of the Jeep or does it just look that way in the pic?

It does look different in that picture... I don't know why. But the grille does match the rest of the Jeep. She dosen't know it yet but there are some parts on order for it...

You must not have kids. The wife, stroller, diaper bag, carseat (4 month old), and booster seat (four year old) were getting to be too much for my TJ. I am probably the only guy who strapped a stroller and babyswing to the rack of a TJ.
