My first Jeep - Can you answer a towing question?

Hey all, nice forum! I am the proud owner of a new Islander 4 dr. I have put a little over 100 miles on so far and it seems awesome! I have a question, however, about towing. I haven't towed much in the past and don't know much about towing weight, tomgue weight, etc. I only tow maybe once a week with an old truck that I currently have, but would like to start using the jeep. I have a 6x12 Hustler trailer and I usually pull a Scag with some other mowing equipment (weedeater, blower, etc.). Will this Wrangler pull this? Thanks for any help!

The info is in the owners manual under Towing. It is probably close to 200 lb tongue weight (the weight of the tongue when the trailer is loaded and sitting still) with the gross weight around 2,000 lb (total weight of loaded trailer including weight of trailer).

gears decide that. if you have an auto you probably have 3.73 gears. I believe that puts the towing ratio at 4000 lbs since its a 4 door? maybe its 3000.

I believe it is 3500 lbs. So does this mean the weight of the trailer + contents can = 3500 lbs? Sorry if this sounds stupid, I have never really towed much.

OK, forgot it was a 4 door - and yes, that would be the weight of the trailer + contents.
