multipoint seat harness question

I am looking at buying a 4 point harness with the camlock style. Anyone have this setup? Any cons with it?

Also, with new seat belts how does this work with the JKs computer? Do I need to disable/update anything so that it doesnt think my seat belt is not fastened?

Im also interested in this, planning on getting some suspension corbeau seats with the harness slots. I cant see how they wouldnt be street legal, but I really dont know. The seat belt chime would also need to be turned off somehow.

I would write the company that makes the belt and ask how it intergates with the OEM seatbelt/airbag system. If you were just to disable the seatbelt chime (which can be done) you have the issues of the computer believing you don't have your seatbelt on, which will impact it's deployment of the airbag, which could get you hurt.

schroth makes a DOT legal harness. But it's not something that you'd want to run on the street, or even on the trail. A harness is only good if you want to stay in one spot, like for track or desert racing. They make clips to install the harness using the same bolts as the stock 3-point. So just run the regular belt on the street and use the harness racing.

well i ended up buy a 5 point JDM camlock harness off ebay...not bad for only $24. I will probably use it without the crotch strap though.
