Those are good looking bumpers (AEV/ARB). Was considering one myself when my Jeep was new but didnt have the funds for it.

I had the Mopar bumper with fog light cutouts and winch mount for a year or two. It was a solid bumper but the attention to detail left a lot to be desired. The welds weren't very clean and since the ends are angled back, my tires would dig into the back of the bumper if they were stuffed and I needed to turn. This was mainly due to the bumper going straight across and not being angled up like the AEV or ARB bumpers. If you're not going over a 33" tire, you won't have this problem with this bumper, but you might with a 35" tire.

If you have the opportunity check out both bumpers in person. You will see why the AEV costs more.

I have the AEV front bumper and it's hell built for stout.
Within a few days of getting the bumper I managed to run over a 4" fire hydrant on a new parking deck (I swear that damn thing was camoflaged.) AEV bumpper 1 : fire hydrant 0. It cost me $1,700 to have the hydrant repiared and a can of spray paint to repair the bumper. Other than a couple of scratches and a small tear on the air dam/stearing/swaybar QD skid there was no damage, no bending, no distortion. After the paint touch up, you wouldn't know it happened.

My bad, I should have given more detail. I've got 35" MTR/Kevlars which run a little bigger than most other 35" tires. I also have a 4.5" trail master lift which came with eight adjustable control arms. I've got the axle pushed a little further forward than the stock position. You can kind of see in the pic below where the tire is digging into the bumper. I've actually got a few lugs on the tire that have a split at the base from catching on the back of the bumper.

I have Mopar and 35's. All 8 of my control arms are adjustable. No clearance problems.
At the time ARB and AEV were around $1,400. Mopar was $425. The rear Mopar was $415. I was able to buy both bumpers for less than just the front from those other two companies. Oh, and the dealer installed both bumpers and my winch for $30. All the way around, I came out pretty good.

I got my ARB bumper from Amazon for $765 with free shipping. All in all, I thought it was a good deal and pulled the trigger. The AEV and FabFours were in the running, but it was just too much of a jump is cost.

If you watch Amazon, the price often drops occasionally. I also got my EPi9.0s winch with synthetic rope there for $600 and free shipping.

I've been happy with my ARB for a couple years now...
but to answer your question - I really like the AEV.
if you have the budget for it, the AEV is built well and goes with the JK's lines really well.
