Mopar Half Door Kits released (part numbers listed)

Maybe I missed a thread discussing this but it appears Jeep has finally rolled out the half door kits for those of you interested or curious. It's listed on their site and here's the rundown with MSRP prices:

Mopar e-store listing
82212124 $1,100 Front Half Door Kit, primed, comes complete except for trim panels.
82212123 $1,150 Rear Half Door Kit, primed, comes complete except for trim panels.
82212125 $155 Front Half Door Interior Trim Panels, Khaki
82212126 $149 Front Half Door Interior Trim Panels, Black
82212127 $149 Rear Half Door Interior Trim Panels, Black
82212128 $149 Rear Half Door Interior Trim Panels, Khaki
82212131 $345 Front Upper Half Door Windows, Khaki
82212132 $345 Front Upper Half Door Windows, Black
82212133 $345 Rear Upper Half Door Windows, Khaki
82212134 $345 Rear Upper Half Door Windows, Black

And here's the installation kit instructions (which looks like you have to assemble the internals too):
Front Half Door Kit
Rear Half Door Kit

So it looks like it's roughly $1,600 for a primed 2-door kit and $3,240 for a primed 4-door kit. That's not bad compared to the price of piecing the kits yourself. And if you're only getting them to run half doors during nice weather, you could always skip the upper half. Maybe one of the parts dealers on here can see what kind of discount they can get people and when they'll be available to order.

You forgot to factor in paint. I would love to have 1/2 doors, but for just short of 2 grand I can get a lot of other goodies.

Meh.... lotsa work and a ton-o-cash. I'll just roll down the windows if I need that "wind in my face" feeling.

Better yet, I'll unscrew two bolts and take my doors off.

I think I'd rather spend $800 and get a full set of the Bestop upper and lower fabric doors.

Agreed

Or get lucky like I did, and found a set (full fronts, lower only in rear) for $200

The part numbers and prices have been out for a while.
But when you go to order it doesnt say that they are ready to ship.
Some dealers still wont take orders for this reason.....

Agreed again, my soft doors are waaaaayyy cheaper and also make it even easier to go doorless and carry them with me in the back.

when I bought my Jeep, I was bummed because I thought it was going to have half doors. Fortunately when it arrived it had the fulls. But, I think I'm going to do what n2rock did and keep looking on craigslist for some softies and call it good.
