Mopar Front Bumper + OR FAB rear bumper

I'm not purchasing within the next few months, but I am searching to be ready.

So here's what I am looking at:
http://www.quadratec.com/products/12025_533X_PG.htm rear bumper
I like it because it has two hooks for when I pull people out of their own ruts on the beach
With:
http://www.quadratec.com/products/12116_101_07.htm front bumper
I will mount lights to the corners or something to replace the stock lights. Not sure what I'd do yet, that's why I am researching

Keep it under $1000 is perfect. I'd much rather this front bumper:
http://www.quadratec.com/products/12049_1000_T.htm
But it's a bit on the expensive side

Opinions?

The 2008 Jeep Wrangler is not so much an SUV as it is an experience. It's slow and loud, handles poorly, has crummy interior materials and features doors that provide virtually no crash protection. But when it comes to off-road performance, the Wrangler is simply the best choice available.

Hi there, I'm in the market for a new bumper as well. The Orf-Fab looks good and for the price I think its a great deal. Personally, I would go with the same company for front and rear due to the different colors and textures available. I'm leaning towards the Mopar front and rear bumper myself. I believe Mopar has an updated front bumper, which the stock fog lights will go into I just haven't found any information on. If you do decide to go with Mopar try to go to the dealer and I'm pretty sure they can beat the price of Quadratec. Just my two cents...I hope it help and keep me posted on your choice.

Thank you. That's also what I'm worried about, but I am also on a strict budget for now. I am going to wait for the mopar front bumper with fog lights for sure. The rear bumper costs $500 from mopar, to me that's a bit *over* priced for a REAR bumper.

It's OK. I think it looks better on your puke green Jeep then my white. Plus I got stock crap tires.... so I want kinda a low profile bumper. I should spend the money and get the nice one tho.

If you can get the employee purchase, you can also have that person get a purchase request for accessories. I think it is 15% off, I am also leaning towards the mopar, IMO they match the lines of the jeep the best besides the AEV bumber. But for the price of the AEV I can get the front and back mopars.

I wonder why MOPAR didn't design the bumper for the stock foglight installation?

Well it IS mopar.. haha. Not really worried about the lights though. I can just reroute the wires so I can use the stock switch with off brand lights...

Speaking from total JK ignorance, because I've never checked the wire gauge on my JK, when I did this with my old 95 ZJ, the puny wiring that was used for those in-bumper lights eventually melted with the higher draw from the aftermarket lights.

Worth double-checking maybe.

I have the AEV front bumper and really like it a lot. It is expensive and there are other good alternatives out there, but this is the bumper I wanted and knew if I didn't spend the extra money and get what I wanted I would regret it later. If I was doing a lot of rock crawling like some of the guys on here, I would have gotten a Shrockworks stubby though. Good looking and solid bumper.

Thanks for the heads up. Being an electrician helps in this area.
