Bumper came! I'm sure my UPS person hates me .
First impressions are that the bumper was packed like it was a piece of fine china - I'm impressed. I'll install, tomorrow and post pictures.

Shot of my Jeep and my neighbor's Jeep

Bumper is installed! I'm going to try to get some of that black textured metal to cover up the spot behind the bumper. It looks kind of bleh. But, I am super happy with the bumper!

Install Brew

Going to see if I can find tow shackles at Lowe's.

Put a $500 down-payment down for my local off-road shop to order me a Teraflex 2.5" lift and install it, next Friday. Woo!

This one:

Having 33" tires and wheels will be goofy, but I'll probably cave and try to sell my tires and wheels and get 35"s.

What a weekend. My best friend dumped my bike at 30mph and is incredibly lucky to be alive. He just hit some gravel and the rear-end came out from under him. I saw him do it and it was one of the worst things I've ever witnessed. We're all one slight screw-up from death, so enjoy life while you can!

I complained about my shocks in the past and they still suck, but are a lot better once I realized the tire-place had aired my tires up to 40psi!!!! I lowered them to 30psi and the ride is a lot better.

I went to change my oil, tonight, and the bolt completely rounded off. I'm going to have to take it to the shop to get my oil changed - I'm sure they can get it out. But I'm going to replace the crappy stock screw with something A LOT better.

I'm excited for my 2.5" Teraflex kit to be installed, this Friday. I'm currently sitting at 36" from floor to fender so we'll see how much height I net when the lift is installed.

Ouch. I would have killed my friend for dumping my KLR. Was the damage bad? Friend ok?

Can't wait to see the Jeep with a lift!

Damage is about $700 in parts but I'm selling it. Friend has road-rash but is extremely lucky he's alive and able to walk.

w00t! Got my build sheet and I have 4.10! Dana 44 HD rear and Dana 30 front. Kind of sucks the previous owner kept the two soft tops!

With the revelation I have 4.10, my next venture will certainly be new wheels and 35's.

Front tow shackles & mounts arrived - I can finally replace the ugly stock tow hooks that are holding my bumper on. I can't put them on the Jeep because it's at the off-road shop getting my lift installed!

Why did you buy the rugged ridge non d ring ones?

I don't know what you mean.

Got them installed! The neighborhood cat chose my Jeep as his perch.

Also got my lift! I really need 35's now, the wheel well is so empty...

My shop is ordering me AEV brackets for my control arms and they'll install those after they get back from Moab.

AEV drop brackets are on. Noticeable difference in overall handling. Jeep still sways a bit and I may replace my steering stabilizer. Track arm looks fine.

The d rings you purchased are not universal d rings. Rugged ridge makes those and not sure who else?

Difference is notable betwixt the two. Just curious.

Oh right. They're Rugged Ridge from Extreme Terrain. They come with all the hardware to bolt them on so I could get rid of my stock towhooks that were holding my bumper on.
