momentary pause in music through bluetooth

Have a 2012 COD, not sure if its the 430n or 730n, but when streaming music from my phone, the radio will occasionally skip slightly forward or do the opposite and momentarily pause to let the music catch up. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this problem? It didn't do this originally, is this something that can be reset by the dealership?

What are you streaming music from? Considering your audio source is probably a piece of modern technology and the OEM navigation units are not, the issue lies with the navigation system. Unfortunately, there's little you can do there, so you'll want to toy with settings from your mobile device, if there are any available.

Are you streaming from music on the phone's memory or Pandora? It could be that the signal strength of the radio is weak and is only sporadically connecting with the phone

Thanks for the replies. It happens both when playing Pandora as well as from my music library. And I've noticed it on both of my phones (iPhones) so I have to imagine its something with the head unit.
