MetalCloak's JK Frame-Built Bumper

Hey all, its here, the MetalCloak Frame-Built Bumper for the JK Wrangler...

Check out the MetalCloak Vendor post at http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f43/j...cloak-1071163/

Just like the TJ/LJ/YJ/CJ Frame-Built Bumper, there are a number of bolt-on options that allow you to customize your bumper to meet your rig's needs.

Check out the MetalCloak YouTube Channel to see the installation instructions.

If you are not familiar with the MetalCloak Frame-Built Bumper system and its evolution, check out this thread from the TJ Technical Forum:

Looks like a well-constructed bumper, just too many brackets for my taste. I do like how they had a Poodle assemble it though in the video.

Actually, his nickname should be Carrot-top. Of course it is easy to make fun of someone when your own pic is anonymous...

Great looking bumper Matsonian! I'm going to order one of them tomorrow for a build we're starting.

Hmm, now I have to decide between this and the XHD... Any pictures of the full width version on a JK?

I used one of MetalCloak bumpers on my TJ and was very happy with it. Naturally this was the first place I looked for my new JK... unfortunatly I didnt see an option to move my fog lights from the original bumper to the framebuilt one.

I ended up choosing a differant brand for that reason alone.

Just out of curiosity and because we always are looking for feedback, were you looking for an integrated fog light mount (back inside the bumper), or would a relocation bracket that mounted the stock fog lights on top of the end caps have met your needs?

Thanks for the feedback.

I was looking for integrated... but would have considered a bracket mount depending on how it looked.
